Where You Saw Us!!!

2016 saw the band continue to grow and develop into one of the best pipe bands in the south of England.

We played at everything from carnivals to garden parties to horse races; in venues from Hunstanton all the way to Galicia in Northern Spain via Arnhem in Holand, and for everyone from the police to Santa to the best Winston Churchill impersonator we have ever seen!

We took home our first band silverware, coming 4th (joint 3rd!) in the Colchester grade 4 march contest, while on the same day one of our piping quartets came 2nd of the 15 bands competing on the day!

Later in the year we came 3rd in a fancy dress contest at Huntingdon carnival - the less said about that the better!!

Away from performances we had several people attend tuition for the bands instruments, and during the year relocated our rehearsals to Wyton.

Thanks once again to all band members for their support over the year, to the event organisers who invited us along and to everyone who came to see us play. Lets see what excitement awaits in 2017!!
