Our lead drummer Iain performed once again with the Massed Celtic Pipes and Drums,  this time in the truly spectacular setting of Red Square in Moscow!

Iain was the lead bass drummer with the band's big red drum, here in a 70 strong pipe band with an accompanying drum major display team.  The Main show was performed each night over 2 weeks, and in addition to the tattoo itself the band performed several other shows and parades throughout the Russian capital.

One of the largest events of this kind in the world, this show featured acts from Mexico, Spain, Monaco, Switzerland, Italy, Oman, Sri Lanka, and indeed all over Russia.  With the spectacular backdrop of St Basil's cathedral, Red Square and the walls of the Kremlin - and a live TV broadcast going out to an audience of 100s of millions worldwide - the Cambridgeshire bass drum was there as the heart beat of the band!
