Another hot day for a long march and the new bass drum got its first outing. St Ives turned out in force, lining the streets for all of the parade as we made our way to the Carnival.

The day was made better by winning a trophy before we even took our turn on centre stage. Thank you to the Mayor for insisting that all of the band were in the picture, how else would we get Iain in the news.
